Hi so I had BC 23 years ago age 35 . Lobular just under 3cm . Lump removed chemo rads tamoxifen chemical menopause. All fine for 15 years then mammo picked up BC in other breast unrelated different type did whole lot again All good til now 8 years on. Routine mammo/ ultrasound has picked up a change in the internal scar on lobular breast, an intensification and a deepening apparantly. So I have an MRI scan in ten days to check exactly what it is ( nothing available before) Has anyone else had this? Thanks for reading

I've not had this. I'm only nearly 2 years from diagnosis. It must be very scary. Here to talk if I can help.

Aw thankyou so much i really dont want to talk to family or friends ( DH knows but Im keeping it very upbeat) as they have been through it all with me over the past 24 years in all and I dont want to freak them out ( even though they wont show it)
Im just so over all the checks and controls ( anxiety inducing) appointments and treatments though at the same time I am so very greatful to be still around and have led a normal happy life and especially have been able to bring up my kids so I know logically those checks and controls are worth it too
. So I asked AI who was amazingly comforting somehow( crazy as it is) and reassuring so I should be good til my routine appointment with the oncologist next week .Thankyou for listening and best wishes to you.
