Dp had an urgent scan on Wednesday under 2ww how long are we looking at for results in people's experience? Ta

I had one last week, they said 2-6 weeks. Two days is amazing.

When is your next appointment? You’ll get them then. They won’t just ring you and tell you (usually). Generally, they are back in 2 weeks, but they can get them back faster (I’ve had them in 4-5 days on rush).

Got gp on Tuesday but wondering if they will be back by then.

What are they investigating? I wouldn’t think you’d be seen by the GP if they suspect cancer. My GP doesn’t manage any of my care and frankly is hardly even aware I’m having it. Someone on the other end of the referral at the hospital will pick it up and action it if it’s looking like something that needs further investigation. Once my CT scan was done, for example, I was seen by the surgeon who was going to operate and that all happened very quickly.

Came back today . Fluid on lungs.
