Mass on ct scan

Anyone had a mass show on ct scan in right lower bowel? I’m so scared

No I haven’t but had a 2 ww as I had bowel problems. Completely understandable that you’re frightened and hoping you get the outcome of your scan soon. All of my friends who have had lumps/masses say the waiting for results/plan is the worst time. Whatever the outcome, there is a lot of support on here.

Lots of things can pop up on CT scans that may not necessarily be cancer. In fact, every time I have a CT scan (I do have cancer), they remind me that random stuff might pop up that’s not related to my cancer, but might look funny and need investigating.

What was the reason you had the CT scan? Where you having symptoms? And what’s the plan? I assume you’ve seen the consultant to get the results, so hopefully they’ve been able to discuss with you what’s next to check it out.

Terrible pain in lower right, nausea, blood in poo sample. Ct scan showed a mass. Waiting for someone to call to talk me through what’s next

I also have cancer and agree that the waiting is the worst. Hopefully they can get to the bottom of things soon OP. When do you expect to be contacted?

Been put on emergency pathway. For another ct scan for test of body to check for any spread and also a colonoscsopy
