Doctors Strike

Awaiting results for a hysteroscopy biopsy on the 2 week wait suspected cancer pathway. I was wondering if the upcoming doctors strike might delay results in people’s experience.

No, resident doctors aren't really involved in cancer pathways and histologists who do the examination of biopsies aren't likely to be leaving the labs to cover the wards etc. Worth knowing that biopsies generally take a longer time than anyone would like to get reported this days anyway. Fingers crossed for you

Thank you. 10% probability of cancer on the pathway it says. Just want to know what I’m dealing with either way at this point, been 6 weeks since GP advised that needed a biopsy and no-one really wants to say anything until been through the process it seems.
