Hi My 9'years old son has swollen lymph nodes since 8 weeks. He has been in and out in A&E for his temperature and all. Now they are saying about doing Biopsy as they did all the tests. Is there anyone who has been through all this. He has temperature on and off.
I dont know what to expect as too stressed.

I can understand how worried you must be OP, hoping there is a positive outcome for you and your son! If it’s any reassurance, I had a swollen lymph node in my neck that I had to have biopsied after multiple ultrasounds and an MRI. It turned out to be benign and has just never gone down for one reason or another.

I actually did have a lymphoma as a child. I didn't have a temperature.
I did have a large growth that appeared on one side of my neck. Scans showed masses across my chest.
It was very fast growing, got cought quickly and was very treatable. I'm still here 30 years later! I wouldn't have survived 8 weeks with my diagnosis, lump came up and was biopsy within a week and I was on chemotherapy even before full results were back within days of the biopsy being done.

Thank you so much for replying. I am still in hospital waiting for MRI and CT scan slot. Just hoping that it should turn out yo be benign. They are doing bloods again and again they were saying about red blood cells.
Hoping for the positive outcome. 🙂
