Periods after chemo induced menopause

I'm 45 and finished chemo 7 weeks ago. It had put me into menopause but yesterday I started bleeding. It's been really heavy with clots, much worse than my periods used to be. Does anyone have any experience of this and know if it is normal? I had breast cancer, had lumpectomy in December, chemo then radiotherapy. I have Herceptin injections every 3 weeks. Many thanks

I am not sure as my periods never returned but would be inclined to call your team and check with them. We could still call chemo line after finished.

My periods returned quite quickly after the treatment finished and are still here 7 years later, was hoping there was some benefit of going through that hell to at least get rid of them!

Mine were not any different to those I had had before but I am on tamoxifen and not Herceptin

Different situation here so I don't know the answer but I'd highly recommend following dralisonmacbeth on Instagram and her website
