Am I overthinking?

last week I had a pelvic ultrasound, within two hours I’d received a text to say to make a routine appointment with the doctor which isn’t till next week. I logged into the gp portal and it says borderline and under test results it says the following
Normal size anteverted uterus with a heterogenous myometrial echotexture consistent with adenomyosis or early fibroid change, no focal fibroids seen.

in my understanding something has appeared not normal but could this be uterine cancer or am I panicking for nothing

I don’t think they’d have said make a routine appointment if it was anything serious, people can wait several weeks for a routine appointment, which would be far too long if there was cancer.
It also says the findings are consistent with adenomyosis or early fibroid change. These are, unfortunately, very common so the radiographer would be familiar with what they are seeing. This is the ‘not normal’ bit as there is something to see, rather than it being completely normal if you see what I mean.
It also wouldn’t be set to be viewable to patient on the GP portal if it was cancer/concerning ime. It would be left as ‘not visible to patient’ on the GP end until it had been discussed.

Can I ask why you are assuming cancer from what you’ve read?
