In recent weeks my finger nails have been breaking and layers breaking way.

They look a total mess.

Anyone else experienced this and any handy hints as I'll have no nails left and my fingers are annoying sore and getting open to infection.

Note: I Know this is minor just another part of body being shit and it just gets a bit tiresome.

Thank you x

polybalm is very good - expensive but I think it helped

Niacin supplements. Transformed my nails. They've always been crap and then I developed psoriatic arthritis with associated psoriatic nails. I started taking Niacin and rubbing cuticle oil in regularly. I keep the oil by my armchair and put it on while watching TV.

I now have to cut my nails because they are getting too long as opposed to continually dealing with breaks.

Thank you for the help and suggestions. Looking into them whilst I still have some nails left!

No idea why I quoted the post from @gfedcba . It was an accident.

Nail oil on each night. Makes a massive difference, even if it's just Sally Hansen.

One of the side effects of my mum’s cancer drugs was terrible fingernails when she previously had beautiful nails. We used OPI nail envy and this from Manicurist which helped.

We had a recurring Amazon order for skin glue too, to help seal up and cuts around her fingernails and protect from infection which really helps.

Good luck with your treatment 🩷
