Hi, I have had my second lumpectomy and I am wondering if anyone has had radiotherapy following 2 lumpectomies for abnormal cells, how long was your radiotherapy? And how soon did you start it?

Also was you give clindamycin antibiotics, and how was you on them?

I’ve also had two lumpectomies for DCIS and just started radiotherapy. Second surgery was beginning of March, so 8 weeks from the surgery to the radio therapy and I’ll have 5 treatments. I don’t think I have to take any other medication. They said the DCIS was high grade but all removed so the radio therapy is just precautionary against reoccurrence.
