Breast clinic appointment anaxity

Hi everyone
I have breast clinic appointment on 22 April I feel so scared and anxious about that .
2 weeks a go I noticed my right nipple go invert sometimes and start checking my breast and while having shower I feel little lump in same breast next day I been to gp she checked and said she feel what I feel but it's milk dudts that block but because of nipple inversion she send me to breadt clinic that past two weeks is so stressful now just 1 day to go but I'm feel so anxious just came here for any positive advice Thanks 🫂

Although it is a worrying time, by going to be assessed at the breast clinic is a positive step and that your concerns are being taken seriously.
You’ll either be told all is fine, or that they want to run further tests, like a biopsy and additional scans.
I would suggest that you get someone else to take you, just in case. I was basically told that I had a suspicious legion, which was likely to be cancer at my first appointment. And then I had to drive myself home. Wouldn’t recommend that.
I agree though that the waiting is awful. I actually found the follow up appointments less stressful.

Yes I'm going to bring my husband to the appointment can't go alone because I'm so scared and anxious can't drive or go alone

Hi, I know exactly how you feel as I had my gp appointment last week and now waiting for the breast clinic appointment date. How long did you have to wait to find out the date of yours, please?
my lump is oblong, not painful, about 1,5cm long and I’m absolutely petrified. I check my breast religiously I wonder how long I’ve had it for as it’s so obvious now that I found it 😢

You should get your beast clinic appointment through within 2 weeks of gp referral. I think I got my appointment date a week after seeing the gp, with my appointment 2 weeks after gp appointment.

It's been 2 weeks since I see gp the next day I received appointment in text mesege and exactly after 2 weeks I have clinic appointment

I thought I’ll update on my situation. I still haven’t heard from the hospital so rang them last week and was told to be patient as they have until 6.05 to give me the date for the urgent 2week referral - this is after my initial appointment with the gp on 17.04 … make it make sense
i just couldn’t wait that long as the fear was too much for me to cope with so booked a private hospital visit - had one today, saw a doctor, had a mammogram and a detailed scan as the lump seemed suspicious- had to wait about half an hour for the results, it was hard but eventually was told both breast are 100% clear of any cancerous tissue ☺️ the lump is a glandular tissue and nothing to worry about although he said it is rather swollen so no wonder I was so scared
I will finally sleep tonight after nearly 2 weeks of worrying
