Inserted picture below I went to the doctor a couple of days ago as I felt a lump in my left breast I’ve no idea how long it’s been there as I never check them I told her I had about 14 days until my period was due but she said it couldn’t be do to with that cos it’s not due till the 25th she felt and said she could feel a lump didn’t tell me wether it moved or not said she was referring me but could take a couple of months to me it feels like the lump isn’t moving which concerns me didn’t say how big she thought it was but my nipple feels red raw like I’ve got some sort of friction burn but I haven’t and I never really look at my nipples but if you look carefully you can see yellow lumps on the actual nipple when I went for a shower earlier my nipples was full of them when I look closely it looks like I’ve a crusty hole in the one that’s sore? If that makes sense also it feels like it’s constantly hard or going hard when your milk is coming through and it feels like it’s going hard when your milk is leaking but there’s no leaking of any kind of fluid going by the internet i have every single symptom of breast cancer im only 30 and im in absolute bits i also add my breast lump isn’t sore but is hard and large

have you been referred to the breast clinic? It sounds like it’s something to get checked out.

yes I’ve been referred what’s freaking me out is she said it could take a couple months to come through she said it could be some thing it could be nothing but I’m also worried at the fact it doesn’t move

I’ve been referred for breast lumps twice (luckily both ended up nothing to worry about) but my GP explained breast lumps are always referred through the two week urgent referral path in case of cancer. She was explaining it to me to confirm it didn’t necessarily mean cancer, but that’s the standard practice with breast lumps. It doesn’t seem right you have potential cancer symptoms and aren’t referred on this urgent path, I would double check with your doctor! Hopefully it’s nothing to worry about x

The only symptom I have at the moment but this could be cos I’m paranoid is it feels like my nipple is going hard constantly to me it doesn’t feel like the lump moves and it’s about the size of a grape it doesn’t hurt to push on and you really have to fiddle about to find it no nipple discharge I don’t know if you can see the photo and can see if it looks normal or not her words were it could be something or it could be nothing my periods due the 25th I’m praying it’s to do with that and not what I’m terrified of it being I’m only 30 the thing that’s worrying me the most is I don’t think it moves and it’s not sore
