MRI lit up, biopsy negative

Hello.
Short version: had a breast MRI following dense breast diagnosis at mammogram check up (and three small lumps that appeared to look benign on the ultrasound . The MRI lit up one of the lumps so I quickly had a biopsy and the result was benign. One doctor saying remove it (not urgent) and the other saying to come back in 3 months for an ultrasound and if it's growing - remove it. Any advice please as I'm so worried and not sure what to do. Does this mean it's cancer? Pre cancer? Could turn into cancer? Thank you.

Morning op,

I would get myself on the (non-urgent) waiting list to have it removed if I were in your position and if that’s an option for you. I would feel hugely reassured that a biopsy is negative but you sound like a worrier (just like me) and I would just want the lump out to be on the safe side.

I have absolutely no expertise where bc is concerned, just replying from a health anxiety perspective.

Best wishes

Thank you so much for your reply, yes I'm a worrier big time especially with health. I have two little toddlers which makes it all worse..I think I'll have it out as you say non urgent, my mind is racing that I have cancer elsewhere ... so stressed
