High platelet count

Has anyone had high platelets before that come down? It was 600,000 and the week after I had another blood test (was on my cycle) and gone down to 488,000 should I stop worrying with it coming down?

Hi... I had high platelets, at about the level yours were.... I was referred for scans, chest xray etc, just to rule our anything sinister.. everything came back clear - I was then put on iron tablets, and this brought my platelet levels down to within range.... I have a blood test every 3mths just to keep an eye on the levels.
Has the GP mentioned how they might treat the platelets?

Hello! Do you mind me asking if you established what was going on at all? I’m in a similar situation with high platelets and high WBC, so it would be great to hear from others.
