Firstly I realise how lucky I am compared to some here, truly.

I am currently under derm and gynae for suspected cancers, had a melanoma removed 2023 and a BCC treated last year, plus 4 other precancerous moles removed. This, combined with over 100 moles means I'm v high risk.

Also having v irregular bleeding, 4 polyps removed in past year, hysteroscopy etc etc. Have ovarian cysts, adeno, endo and will likely have hysterectomy later this year.

Combined I've had 9 ops in 18 months.

Had a further suspected melanoma removed from face yesterday under local, which really hurt. I then started crying and could not stop. The Dr was v sweet and just stood there holding cotton wool to my eyes, and I apologized and said it was cumulative re all the poking and prodding.

It is getting worse and worse, I tried getting help on NHS but as it's only for the medical appointments they weren't interested.

I have several other conditions that means I need regular medical apots, but I just can't face any any more. Does anyone know of there's a kind of help I can seek?

@Phunkychicken I'm very sorry you're going through this - it sounds really awful.
I can recommend the Macmillan Nurses they were helpful to me.
Best wishes - Dan
