Question re breast lump

Hi, I think I have found a breast lump. It feels hard and different to the rest of the breast. Mine are big so squishy! Its not a bumpy lump, it feels kinda smooth This feels like it's a bit further down in the tissue. It doesn't feel particularly defined. The breast feels different to the other one like denser or something. But I can only feel this lump when I'm lying in certain positions. Has anyone else experienced this. I think my GP will call me paranoid as its not an obvious lump. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

I had very similar breast lump, it was smooth and hard and I could only find in certain positions. Although once I had found it, I did very regularly find it ifykwim.
Please go to your gp and they’ll refer you to the breast clinic.
They won’t think you’re paranoid, any lump needs checking out and they understand that. After a mammogram and then a biopsy, they were able to tell me it was a cyst. (in fact they told me my breasts were full of cysts which was news to me :(
It was a worrying time though so I hope you can get it checked out asap and everything is ok x

Your gp won’t think you’re paranoid at all. Come seee us we’re a friendly bunch!

Sorry I got that wrong, it wasn’t a cyst that they biopsied it was a something lipoma (sorry I can’t remember the exact term)

Mines was like a solid grape, and did turn out to be cancer, caught early. Go to your GP and you'll be referred quickly to the breast clinic. Hopefully it'll be ruled out as most are but if it is anything early detection is key.

As OPs have said, hopefully will turn out to be benign as most are. But please don't ever feel you can't go to the GP about a lump because it's not an obvious lump. Not all lumps are obvious. In all likelihood (something like 90% I think) lumps looked into turn out to be benign, but not all breast cancers present the same way. For eg lobular breast cancer doesn't always show a traditional lump. It's less common than ductal but anything that doesn't feel normal to you is worth investigating to be on safe side. xx

Always always get anything different about your breasts checked out ASAP. Do not panic if GP says they're going to refer you as they accept they're not specialists and want to make sure whether it's something or nothing. Please do it (I speak from experience 😏) x

Thanks for the advice. I feel like I am constantly aware of it a low ache all of the time, al.ost a kind of burning. But I keep thinking maybe it's all in my head I guess I should get it checked.

Get it checked, please! Catch it early is the only thing I can shout at any one with a chest. I'm going through it, xxxx
