Crap things people say - Druids included

Husband has secondary bowel cancer but is having treatment and definitely focussed on living. He was gobsmacked to receive an unsolicited message from a distant ‘friend’ who has retrained as a Druid apparently. He sent us a link to a documentary his mortician friend made about rituals around dead bodies around the world because DHB ‘ will have to face the final curtain before the rest of us ’( yes he actually said that). Insensitive what ? Was angry at first but now see the funny side. ( I guess)

Body knows if original druids even existed, let alone what they believed in or their rituals. Which makes what he says even more arseholian.

Wow that is one self-involved Druid! Thinking only about what matters to them and completely failing to consider the other party's perspective. Astonishingly obtuse.

I swear the older I get the more i think people are arseholes. Druids included.

My friend whose teen got cancer was told that her teen must be a very negative person because only negative people get cancer. By a work colleague. Imagine.

I'm sure we could manufacture find some research indicating the Druids never indulged in human sacrifice or any sort of ritual killings, but were liable to assist some of their number towards the 'final curtain' for being completely insufferable knobs.
