Breast pain, nipple changes and lumps

I have this ongoing pain in my left breast and nipple, my veins are up and it’s just like an ongoing sore pain but is different to period / pregnancy breast pain.

i also have lots of little lumps in both breast. I saw the GP on Friday who checked me over and wasn’t concerned but I can’t help but worry there is something wrong.

my nipples are flat and the nipple itself hurts. The area where the vein is raised looks flatish. And I didn’t mention it to the GP but my nipples have changed in size and position (more lopsided which I put down to weight gain etc but who knows.

feeling anxious and not sure what to do next. Also feeling irritated that it’s so flipping hard to find any photos online of examples of breast issues, it’s all just cartoons!

Something is telling you it's not right - please do trust that instinct and go back, and insist on a referral to breast clinic. These symptoms may be nothing, I had some similar (with one extra, increase in size of one breast) and I've been diagnosed this week. My consultant keeps emphasising how important it was I found it because it's still curable. I felt I was being over cautious about it but now I am so relieved I went.

Join up with Breast Screen or similar and be checked over by a doctor who specialises in breast health.
Expect a thorough physical breast exam, a Mamogram and an Ultrasound.

@Flibberdigibbit thank you, I think you’re right something is telling me it’s not right. I’ve booked a private gp appointment today and am hoping I can get a referral.

Sorry to hear about your diagnosis but great news that it’s curable and can be treated early. Did you have any pain with yours?

I’ve got breasts that develop cysts, they have given me pain, nipple discharge and lumps. I go and get them checked every single time, it’s well worth doing. So pleased you’ve got an appointment- it’s absolutely time well spent. Ofc hoping for a good outcome for you
