Worried about ibc - purple area under breast

Hi all I am new here but need some advice and support please. Went to docs a couple of weeks ago as I found a red spot/area under my left breast and she said it was the start of an ulcer and gave me antibiotics. I have no pain this area by the way. A week later still there and another one has come up next to the original one and they are both purple now so she gives me steroid cream and has a feel and says she can feel a small area of thickening so said I need to see breast clinic too. Steroid cream has done nothing and the purple areas are still there but I am seeing the breast clinic on Wednesday. Trying not to spiral here guys but my mind is racing and worry it's ibc.

I’m sorry you’re going through this and it is good you’re being seen quickly. Most visits to breast clinic end up with a no cancer diagnosis and it’s good they’re checking you so soon.

Be prepared to have an ultrasound and possibly a small biopsy, or drain of fluid it it’s a cyst. If they do need to do anything in the breast they use plenty of numbing so you won’t feel it. In mine and others’ experiences everyone is very kind and gets things done efficiently.
