My dad is 66 and since July has been suffering with extreme tiredness and very pale looking, he still works a manual job and is a busy body so this was a big change for him. He went to the GP and bloods showed anemia and after a couple of weeks they were drastically lower. They are continuing to drop even after steroid tablets. Stool sample has showed blood in stools. He is feeling really rubbish, taken time off work, wanting to sleep constantly (this is really not like him) and not really eating much. GP suspected possible bowel cancer. He had a colonoscopy 2 weeks ago which was clear and an endoscopy last week which was clear (from cancer anyway, showed some gastritis). So they are now going to do a CT scan to try and find where the bleeding is coming from. My main worry is pancreatic cancer and can't stop thinking about it. Can anyone shed any light or experiences based on this please?
