I have some occipital lymph nodes up around my hair line and just going down into my neck. No symptoms of infection at all, been up for about two weeks now, not painful, quite hard and some other symptoms that sound like they could be something nasty (severe fatigue but I have a five month old baby, chest tightness which I've linked to anxiety, itchy legs and had a random fever about a week ago with no other symptoms).
GP seems worried. Sent for urgent bloods this morning to do a general test and also a kidney function test to make sure I can handle the contrast dye and once the bloods are back they're sending for an urgent CT. Presumably thinking of a lymphoma.
I'm trying not to worry because there's no point but I keep looking at my baby and crying because I'm just so scared something is up and I'm not going to be around for him. My lymph nodes have never swollen up before, even with infection, which is what prompted the GP visit.
Just posting here really for a handhold and any personal experiences. Undoubtedly will be a while until there are any answers but have been told to call back Tuesday and even if the bloods are normal we're going for a CT regardless so they'll put the referral in then.
