Life insurance after BCC

Hello everyone,

I just wondered if anyone had been given life insurance policy after a previous basal cell diagnosis?

I was hoping that I'd still be able to get it, but I can't find a straight answer online, so was hopeful people might have had the same experience and would be able to share who they got it with?

Thank you x

Hello, I have been exploring life insurance and critical health cover recently.
I had to answer whether my BCC had been fully removed, and for me the answer was yes so it didn’t cause an issue. Having ongoing health investigations in to something else were the problem ☺️

Hey! Thank you so much for getting back to me. Thank you, that's good to know, hope you get everything else sorted! Xx

There is every chance that you would get life cover, it’s Critical Illness Cover that may get declined. The insurance company may well write out for your GP report and they may increase the premium or add exclusions.

if you find that you cannot get cover with the main players such as L&G, Zurich and AIG, try Pulse as they specialise in insurance for people with underlying health problems.
