This is not about me I do not have cancer but a friend of mine a couple of years ago had kidney cancer and had the Cancer taken away with surgery and she's been fine ever since

Fast forward 2 years and she found a gross down below and they didn't know what it was said I investigated it and said she might need to have a hysterectomy

6 months ago she told me that she was going in for surgery but didn't tell me what kind of surgery it was and now she's going to have more surgery and she says she may need to have more surgery next year but she doesn't tell me whether they found that she's got cancer again somewhere else or what the surgery is for all she has told me is that she's having these multiple operations

I respect her privacy but how can I support her unless I know what these operations are for

She will only tell you what she wants you to know.
Just let her know you'll be able to help/ chat / whatever if she needs it.
