I'm due to start taking Neratinib next week and I am really worried about the side effects, particularly the diarrhoea. It sounds wimpish, but I had to stop chemo after my first round at the end of June last year as I ended up in hospital, and my bowels have not been normal since then. If I already have bowel issues, I imagine that the side effects from the Neratinib will be even worse! Added to that Loperamide just makes it worse for me (a recognised side-effect) so I'm going to go on low dose codeine -for a year!
I would love to hear of any of your experiences of Neratinib, and coping mechanisms if you have any.
