Does this usually mean it's cancer?

No , it doesn’t, can be IBD, gastritis etc , speak to your GP to refer you forward so you can find the cause, you’ll be sent for a colonoscopy , everyone with a reading above 100 will have this procedure done.

I had a fit test come back in back over 400 in July. The gp ran some other tests at the same Time and found i had campylobacter. I've had a course of antibiotics and now waiting for result of 2nd fit test. If that's positive I'll have to go for a colonoscopy.
I've asked lots of questions and researched and it seems there's so many causes for a positive result, even a high one. Cancer is not the top of the list of possibilities. Try not to stress (I know it's hard!) Hugs x
