Appointment / Next Steps Tracker

Hello,

My mum has just been diagnosed with cancer and there are a lot of appointments that will happen that get booked in various ways.

Has anyone found a physical (not digital) note pad or similar that maybe has a simple "what happened at this appointment / next steps" layout to help her keep track of what needs to happen next at the end of every appointment?

Technology is stressful for her so apps etc are not ideal. There is so much for her to take in and remember - we are keeping track but I think she would feel better if it was clearer for her too.

Hello, I'm going through cancer treatment at the moment. I was looking for something like you've described above but couldn't find one. I ended up just getting a big diary for the year, and I used different coloured pens for different things. So green is appointment, blue is questions to ask at the appointment, black general things etc. Hope that helps and I hope your mum's treatment goes well

I'm good with all things digital but find it easier to write everything in a notebook, especially when I get phone calls and need to jot things down as I'm listening as I'd forget it all otherwise. It's just a small spiral bound. I've got pages for names and phone numbers, pages for appointments, pages for test results and the rest is just my own notes and ramblings such as the best place to park at the hospital and how to get to the department (my hospital is huge). It lives in my handbag so is with me all the time. I take photos and send them to DH so he's got a copy.
