Travel insurance and 2ww

Supposed to be flying abroad in August. Have a colonoscopy booked for next week on 2ww referral pathway. Do I need to advise travel insurance pre colonoscopy? It might (or might not) be an all clear. Should I wait for the result first or tell insurance in advance?

Good luck for your procedure and the results . Tell the insurer, if the policy was in place before you had symptoms or referral etc you should be covered. If you are wanting to take out a policy now, you will struggle to get cover for any circumstance arising from the colonoscopy/diagnosis.
