Breast Biopsy

Hi,

Was hoping people could help me with their experiences as I am literally worried out of my mind.

I had a breast biopsy on the 27th June, so just under 3 weeks ago. Heard nothing back until today when I have a letter for an outpatient appt for the 6th August, which is in another 3 weeks time.

This seems like an awful long time to wait and also outside of the FDS timeframes.

Has anyone had experience of this and it been positive?

Hi - can you phone and chase for an earlier appointment??

It does seem a long time. I got my biopsy results back in 6 days - though I could tell the Sonographer Consultant knew it was highly suspicious.
