Would this mole cause concern?
I noticed it a month ago but was very ill with a chest infection so haven’t chased it up to see a doctor but I see one next week for it.
it has this redish looking bump on it, I think the bumps been there for a year without me noticing I looked back at old photos to try and see I have so many moles and mostly focus on my big ones on my neck which is why I didn’t notice this one
It’s small but do you think the doctor will take it seriously even if it’s small or anything I can say to make them take me seriously? It concerns me but I’m not freaking out thinking it’s the worst I just would rather anything bad caught very early before it might grow if it was bad
thankyou

Just get it checked out, why wouldn't you? I had a tiny bump I got looked at and it is cancer which I've waited forever to get removed. In fact it's bleeding again this morning annoyingly.

Thank you I am getting it checked out next week but I’m worried they won’t take me seriously
also I’m so sorry yours ended up to be cancer was it early stage? I can put that point across to my doctor to help them take me seriously if they say about it’s size

Yeah mine is seriously tiny. Push for a referral and theyll send you to dermatology where they'll take pics. Then a biopsy which is the only way to really know. Mine is a BCC - rarely spreads, not too much to worry about. A melanoma is obvs more of a concern.

Ask for a referral. Good luck! Sure you'll be fine
