Retroperitoneal Liposarcoma

My Dr sent me to A&E on Tuesday as they were worried I had a lung clot. The lung clog was ruled out after CT scan. However during CT they saw a mass which they scanned again. They think I have Retroperitoneal Liposarcoma and have been urgently referred to The Royal Marsden for tests.

Am in shock. Terrified about how nephew will cope (he lives with us).

Anyone have any experience with this kind of cancer?

I am so sorry... what a shock. This is a very rare type of cancer so finding others with same condition might be tricky but have a look at this forum

Yes and the sarcoma line is really incredibly helpful too, even if you have a diagnosis and irrespectively of what it will turn out to be. I wish you all the best of luck and sending lots of strength and hope your way.
