Chemo Hair Loss - hat?

MIL has been diagnosed with lymphoma, and will be starting chemo next week all going well. They said she'd lose her hair early on Confused. I wanted to get her a soft comfy hat or turban, I can't see her wanting a wig. I did some searching but lots of them seem too complicated or reviews are saying they're too tight... has anyone found one that feels comfy & soft?

I would honestly get her something else. The weather is heating up and so many people don't get on with any of those wigs/hats/other and prefer to have nothing.

Maybe a voucher for somewhere like John lewis? With the summer approaching, she could treat herself to a nice sun hat or some skin care. Generally, with having chemotherapy skin can be very sensitive to the sun.

I was treated over the summer for lymphoma. Sometimes I covered my head with a silk scarf then a straw hat. I wore turbans a lot and bought a few from Masumi headwear (which i would highly recommend). I liked choosing them myself, so I am not sure I would have wanted someone else to buy them for me.

One of my favourite presents someone bought me at the time was a pair of super soft and comfy pyjamas.

I bought myself loads of hats but ended up not wearing them because they made my head not and I would rather just be bald! If it had been winter when I was hairless I may have worn them more, but it had started growing back by then and I don't go out much so I didn't bother.

Is she a hat-wearer usually? I got most of mine from Amazon I think, as I wanted a selection of cheap and cheerful. You are very welcome to have all of mind for her if you want them!

I’m going through IV chemo just now. Got mine from Etsy and Amazon
