I have a mole that has white crusty spots on it on my arm. It is raised and inflamed around the edge.
I saw the GP who thought it might be infected-a spot or ingrowing hair- as it was sore when he pressed it.
He prescribed Flucloxacillin -a week's worth- and to see him again when the course was finished. There were 28 tablets in the pack and I have now taken 10.
I keep checking it but it doesn't look a lot different.
If it was an infection, shouldn't it be looking better by now?
