Can someone tell me what to expect at this appointment please.
I'm post menopause and have had some bleeding. I went in for an ultrasound scan and an internal scan to look at my womb. They've identified a thickening of the womb which may, or may not be something to worry about.
GP rang me at 8.30 am the next day and explained that he wanted to refer me to the gynae unit at the hospital for further tests to rule out endometrial cancer. I've had the appointment for next week come through today.
He didn't really explain what this entails so rather than googling I thought I'd ask on here.
