My partner (28) had pneumonia in October of this year, he had an x-ray then a CT scan! They said he had pneumonia and that there was one swollen lymph node in his chest but he wasn't worried, there wasn't anything on his discharge notes regarding it either however his crp was raised and so was the d dimer test they took because they originally thought it was a blood clot hence the first chest ct.
He was told he had to have a follow up CT which I'm guessing is to make sure the pneumonia has cleared?
I'm panicking about the lymph node. He's gotten yet another cold and cough now which has been going on for a couple of weeks so I'm worried because he seems to get I'll all the time😞 he's also asthmatic too and he also get a pain in his chest on the left side and suffers indigestion quite often too so I just can't help but panic thinking he's got lymphoma because of that one lymph node in his chest it's stupid I know but my 17 year old cousin has lymphoma a couple of years ago and his symptom was a cough 😞 he's got a follow up scan on the 29th of this month.
