Hi I had DCIS pre cancerous breast cells 2020 I was diagnosed the same week I was told my brother had died.
it was covid
I have PTSD as I lost my baby late in pregnancy in 2015 to sepsis in the same hospital. ICU 8 blood transfusions followed by 3 more blood transfusions on discharge.

i have IBS where I can’t travel without extreme anxiety I’ll need the toilet and I have to get 2 buses for my 3rd annual mammogram. It’s 2 hours bus journeys.
my husband won’t hire a car as he’s worried about accident and paying £400 excess
my friends I’m not good at travelling with as anxiety.

so now I’m feeling the same annual anxiety about travelling mammogram waiting for results - I can’t think how I’ll cope going through the tests etc if it comes back

it was small 9mm but I had trainee doctor who didn’t know what are was doing with biopsy’s and it was painful as lymph node biopsy and ibs is unpredictable

anyone know of any good online hypnotherapy apps to help this rules my life every Christmas

Thankyou xx

I'm so sorry you have this annual anxiety.

How much would a taxi cost to the hospital?

You may also be able to access patient transport - does your hospital offer anything like that?
