High Ca125 but clear scan

I went to my Dr a few months ago for bleeding after sex and between my periods. He asked me to get checked at sexual health clinic and come back if clear and it still happens. All tests came back clear so went back and had blood tests, which showed I had raised ca125 of 187.9. I've since been for scan but sonographer said all looked normal. I am on the 2ww for gynaecology, but I'm worried that they'll just brush over it and send me on my way. I do have a lump on right side at the end of my C-section scar but have been told this is scar tissue and nothing to do with this. Did anyone else have high ca125 and normal scan? What was the next steps to take at gynaecology?
I was hoping that they would just find some fibroids and that would explain it.

I had a higher level than this it was endometriosis.

@Lovecatsanddogs Was that detected by ultrasound?

No by laparoscopy.

Also I was told that CA125 is not very reliable for pre menopausal women. Endometrious can grow anywhere and is not visible on scan unless it forms an ovarian cyst.

CA125 is notorious for having a low specificity and high false positive rate. High CA125 does not mean you necessarily have cancer or that anything is wrong at all. I hope you can feel reassured by having the clear scan as that is much more accurate

Thank you both, that's made me feel much better. Just want an answer as to why I've been bleeding between periods and after sex for the past 2 years. I have gynaecology appointment on Friday and just hoping that they will take a biopsy or more bloods or something and tell me it was a blip.
