Got to nice, empty site today, only tent here. Big empty field. Now 2 more tents, the second. Of which is now 3 ft from mine. Guy ropes crossing. What is wrong with people. They are shouty and sweary as well.

On up side, new pop up tent is fab

I hate it when people do that can you pointedly move your tent away? would be worth it to get some space even if a hassle. Cos once they start drinking (bitter experiences)

can you not "report" them nicely to site people? the last 2 places we went to both had signs up saying no antisocial pitching, please leave at least 10ft between tents

Oh no! I had to change the slot of DD1's swimming lessons because sweary people always started their arguments in the cubicle right next to our one, which they chose out of dozens of empty ones.

No point moving, only a small site and can easily hear them from far end. Site very full now and everyone cramped together. Some boy racers in souped up corsa just arrived. Nice.

Farmer says another sixty people tomorrow night. God knows how they going to fit in. Only two toilets for 90 people. Thank god i have porta potty in van

Yikes, sardine camping! Hope you have a great time anyway.

Well we did have a good time but it was very much sardine camping. Saw some people with bunting for the first time ever at a campsite, it was strung from the trees behing their tents.

DH turned up last night and joined us, his car alarm went off at 3:00am, so I think we turned out to be the nosiest ones on the campsite.

The extra 60 people turned out to be DofE'ers in tiny tents which is how they crammed them all in. I was a bit concerned as to how bad the queue for the 2 toilets and one sink was going to be but when I got up at 8:30am they were all packed up and marching out the gate!

Got the new Quercha Seconds Base down ok'ish. DH did have to step in and help as I was trying to bend it the wrong way. He was telling me I was going to break it and I was adamant it was meant to bend that way. He was right though and stopped me before I bust it!
