I have been.... is my favourite campsite in the whole world EVER
the brand new shower block was fitted at the end of 2009 and in march 2010 they opened the brand new super clean very high spec toilet block.
Mark and sally are the nicest campsite owners EVER....
the honesty shop is fab... you wont run out of milk / cheese / sausages /butter / bacon / bread / jam / marshmallows + any other useful thing you will ever need...
the communal fridge and freezer are fab... you can eat ice cream and ice lollies while camping!! (remember a marker pen to mark your stuff)
you are NEVER crammed in... i have always been when it has been "full" and there has been loads of space... easily enough to have 2 or 3 times more tents / people and STILL not feel crowded...
they now have a new shed with the local pub menu and map and things to do leaflets etc + an honesty library... read whats there and return...
the animals are lovely... you can feed the lambs and horses and stroke them
the campsfires are fab (make sure yo book one) and as if that isnt enough they have the farm shop where you can book for all your grocerys to be delivered to your tent, and they also will make very nicely priced sandwiches / baguettes, delivered to your tent first thing in the morning (if you book the night before) for a picnic.
i LOVE lonthorns!!! cant wait to go back!
