I got loads of help on here a couple of months back and we bought a Wynnster Raven 8 tent for going camping as a family - much against dh's "better judgement" as he's not a natural camper!
We managed to put it up on Thursday evening at a festival site we were going to (not Glasto! We were at a little faith/arts/justice festival in the Scottish borders, an hour form home). We slept in it Fri/Sat/Sun, cooked on our little gas stove, the weather was amazing, kids ran up and down the site and made lots of noise with all the other kids, went to late night concerts and generally had a ball.
Thanks for all the advice. We've already signed up to go back next year and I am sure that we will get a lot of use at other times too.
We are now campers!!!
