My nearly 3yo DS has always slept in his grobag camping with extra clothes underneath and blankets on top, but has now almost outgrown it, so what should I use now? Advice eagerly awaited

I would just go straight to a midi or even an adult bag, just tie the bag with bungee cord or similar to the length that you want it to be (you can then fold that section back under to keep him extra warm).

My 5yo and 2yo both have midis that I imagine will last them until they are 9-10ish, I decided on these as they are not so wide so thought would keep them warmer, though I know a lot of folks don't bother and stick them straight in an adult bag.

You will probably find he needs a fleece on his top half as I find children seem to wriggle out of sleeping bags in the night, I sometimes stuff a blanket down the bag too if it is really cold.

Mine both have these.

I have mids as well. Worked well for DS2 aged 2 last year.
