Outdoor mums...can you recommend a good make of rain proof coat?

Hi there. I do quite a bit of walking and birdwatching and my 1000 year old Berghaus is now past it and is really not at all waterproof.

I trawled Millets and Black and really could not find a decent green lightweight rainproof coat.

Ironically I bought DD a great outdoor rainproof coat from Viking kids but cannot find anythig for myself.

Does anyone have a good recommendation? I noticed a few being advertsied in the RSPB magazine but you can't really tell from a photo.

I thought the camping mums might know good outdoor gear...

My husband owns a Country Innovation waterproof coat which I think are advertised in Birding magazines. I think it is the Bill Oddy ones? They're grean and you can get different weights and male/female too.

You mean inconspicuous green? I think most of the normal brands do good coats from Regatta/Peter Storm up to Berghaus/Lowe etc. It's a case of which brand has the right colour and how much you want to spend.

Great bargain here

Cotswold outdoor have a "sprayway Womens Venus II" in "moss" for £60, cannot link.
