Campervan/motorhome ???

We are thinking of hiring one of these in the summer holidays for a weekend or a week never done it before. There would be 2 adults and 2 kids (11,9), we stay near Aberdeen in Scotland and was looking for good places to go that would keep us all amused, willing to drive up to maybe 3 hours at a maximum. Any ideas or if anyone has any hired one would be interested to know your thoughts?thanks in advance

We have a motorhome, live in Aberdeen and two weeks ago went up to Findhorn. Less than two hour journey and lots to do in the area. You are surrounded by water and are near to Forres, Lossiemouth, Kinloss and other lovely villages. Only problem with the motorhome is that once you are parked you dont really want to go anywhere in the van as it is an upheaval. Take bikes though or if you dont go too from home far take your car.
