we are off on our first family camping trip soon (gulp) and I'm just trying to locate the best bits to take along & advise on all those things I haven't even thought of yet. I've found some great things so far but seem to be a bit stuck on chairs and things .. I think the stol chairs at funky moose seem like a great idea, but can anyone else recommend anything else ? also do you just tend to take a stack of melamine plates out of the kitchen cupboard when you go ? thanks all

ear plugs in case you get someone snoring in a tent nearby...seriously it can happen...

You want everything folding...so, folding chairs that have their owm bag, folding alu table, cooker like the one Furball linked to (Ihave it and can vouch) as it packs in own case.
Keep everything ready in your shed/loft wherever so when you go its there ready to put in the car. When you get home, replenish. I have a bag with washing up bowl, washing up liquid, plastic plates/bowls/cutlery etc, baby wipes, tea towels, spare gas canisters for stove. On the day of leaving there is no worries about what to take as its all packed, ready so all we need to pack is clothes

Got back yesterday and have filled washing up bottle up, put fresh tea towels etc in and its all in the shed now ready for next trip
