Camping packing lists ?

CMOTdibbler · 01/06/2010 13:04

Does anyone have a comprehensive list that they would be willing to share with me ?

I want to organise our camping stuff into permanent boxes as far as is possible, rather than throwing things at the car and hoping for the best, so would like to be uber organised

Thanks !

poppyboo · 01/06/2010 17:45

this is very useful...but now i'm very scared at amount of stuff LOL!

CMOTdibbler · 01/06/2010 19:54

Fantastic - thank you ! DH and I have done a lot of festival/casual camping, but this will be first time away as a family, and I feel the need to be more organised than a packet of baby wipes and a sigg bottle of JD with DS

Ha! Ha! No really I do not take all of that , we ahve a camper though and still take far too much stuff! I got the list from here and never got round to editing it! I do not take tweezers, sewing kit, painkillers....

chickenlickin · 02/06/2010 20:27

OMG!!!!!!!!! I am planning our first camping trip with 3 year old and 15 month old and now think we may need a lorry to pack!!!

james79 · 03/06/2010 15:28

Don't be put off! I just love a good list and as I said I certainly don't take everything there! Ours are 3 and a half and 22 months and I find once they smell of campfire/have dirty kneed trousers why bother with changing?? Hope you all have a great time.
