How often do you wash your sleeping bag?

Honest answers please. I realise it depends on how often you go away but roughly, how many nights would you sleep in it before washing it.

We got new ones at Easter and slept 5 nights, weve since been away for a further 4 nights and are going for 8 nights next week. I still havent washed them. We are in a tourer caravan (not that it makes any difference).

My mum made us some liners but they were a pain really as the dc kept getting tangled in them so we didnt use them.

My daughter went to Rainbows tonight and they had a sleepover theme and she had to take a sleeping bag. As I dragged it out of the cupboard I was trying to remember when it was cleaned last and was quite embarrased by the state of it!

In all honesty unless I was aware of a spill or some other need for a wash I would wash them once or twice a year-or after about 20 nights of sleeping in. Maybe wash them after you get back from your next trip.
