Very excited

for those looking at them the ukccs discount from last year still seems to be working.

And they give us a one hour delivery slot tomorrow, so this mama can go to the playgroup ball!

I will report back over the weekend

Ah we love ours, very unusually a piece of kit we would replace like-forlike

Enjoy

Dh thinks he has rendered our oven obsolete not sure if it's that good?!?

Er nopt that big LOL- we can do a roast beef lunch in it, but spuds are boiled.

And the vcobblestones get a bit pricey if you use them very often, we stick to one per day and take a single burner

Is good though

I'm excited for you, having got one last week!

SeaShellsOnTheSeaShore · 27/05/2010 13:05

It's here and it looks AMAZING

really good quality, lurve the pans and very excited.

Lamb chops marinading for this evening as I type

we ended up with all accessories due to ukccs code, so need to practice before we camp in 3 weeks so we are NOT the ones with all the gear and no idea

now where shall I get my bunting from

Ok, we love it! Had minted lamb chops with roasted herby veg round the moat, salad then as it was still so hot we grilled brioche to have with ice cream etc. It was still warm enough to have smoked some fish afterwards if we had had mackeral for kippers tomorrow morning. Dh is kicking himself for not having any!

How did we cope before?!!

Sounds yum!

I know what you mean about it being hot for ages afterwards. Think we will investigate part baked rolls and do those of an evening for lunch the next day.

Did you use cobblestones?

SeaShellsOnTheSeaShore · 28/05/2010 08:30

I want to look into bread making too. The book suggests ready mixes which sound a good idea when camping- I think a bag of flour near my ds is asking for trouble!

We have bought cobblestones, but used charcoal last night. We filled the basket but could really gave done with 1/2-2/3rds the amount. It is so efficient.

I really want to camp this weekend! We are meant to have rain but it's clear blue skies at the moment
