Self inflating mat for a toddler?

We are about to take DD (2.5) for her first camping trip and I'm not sure what she should sleep on?

Should I buy her a self inflating mat and if so, what is the best budget buy? Are Vango mats any good?

We also have Little Life Arc2 travel tent, which we could use, but we have used this before on cold floors and she has always been cold at night.

Would a self inflating mat keep her warmer?

I bought our toddler one of the Wee Airics, which I felt was good value for the price (£20). The reviews on here and on UK Campsite is consistently good for the Airic self inflatables.

Also, yes, I think a good quality self inflating mat should offer better insulation against the cold, as long as she doesn't roll off. I'm planning on adding a throw over his sleeping bag and tuck it in under to stop this.

My DS just uses his ready bed, if it's cold I unzip and layer another fleece in. As it's all attached he doesn't slip off onto a cold floor. He pumps it up himself (well 5 puffs on the pump) as his "important camping job"
