I have a deck it has gaps in it that things fall down (jigsaw pieces, lego etc) plus it is made of wood (well it would be) & the children get splinters

Is there anything camping 'ish' which you put on the floor and is porus & marginally easier to crawl on than wood

I just wondered?

astroturf?

Ponders · 12/04/2010 22:12

here!

what about this environmentally friendly groundsheet It'd be lovely to crawl on!

Katymac · 12/04/2010 22:19

Astroturf - hmm not sure

The groundsheet looks good but would it stay flat I wonder?

I just found this which is half the price of this which is the best so far

try breathable groundsheet from a camping shop.
this sort of stuff

Katymac · 13/04/2010 07:30

Like the environmentally friendly one I'd worry about it staying flat

It could be tacked down to keep it in place.

Lucycat · 13/04/2010 20:11

It is pretty heavy duty stuff though.

Katymac · 14/04/2010 07:19

Is it - I'll go & have a look - I phoned the other company & they said I don't need the quality of the one I picked - there are cheaper versions here

Which is what I'll order, I guess

Thanks for all your help
