Wanted - suggestions of nice campsites in The Forest of Dean please.

If anyone knows of any good sites in The Forest of Dean area, please pass them on here!

We're not after much, just a relatively flat site with good (clean) facilities. A small play area for our ds's would be a bonus. Anything like a clubhouse would be a definite no-no!

Bracelands will give you loads of open space, free pitching with lots of space between tents, forest, clean loos etc & nothing else.

CHristchurch, next door, has a kids playground BUT the site is VERY crowded - although lots of MNers love it.

They share the same office - and are run by Forest Holidays but part of Caravan & Camping club, so the prices went up dramatically and we stopped going (They insisted on 4 nights minimum on a B/Hol weekend, most only demand 3 etc)

Sorry - That dodn't sound positive but we LOVED the freedom, space & spectacular countryside of Bracelands, and if it was nearer would use it for the odd weekend.
