Aargh - my inflatable mattress has got mouldy. Best way of cleaning?

Arse - I left it leaning against the back wall of the shed which is clearly damp (so I've now discovered) and the velour top of my blow up mattress has got a load of white mould on it. I've blown it up and put it in the living room but what's the best thing to get the mould off with? I was thinking of a scrubbing brush and washing up liquid but is there something better I should use?

you can get specific mould cleaning products but not sure what sort of effect that would have on the mattress TBH.

A good scrub and air should do the trick I'd imagine?

Thanks navyeyelash. I've scrubbed it and it's all blown up and sitting in the 'sun' to dry. Fingers crossed

We had a leak in our tourer caravan last year and one of the seat-cushions got mould on it over winter. We just cleaned it with stardrops and water and dried it out for days at home. It worked and has done no damage.
