We are in Kenya and often go camping, this time we shall be away for a week and my share of the cooking is for 3 days of meals for 4 adults 6 kids, the breakfast and lunches are fine but I could do with some evening supper inspiration, preferably something that can be frozen or cooked from tins!

I like to make a Thai style chicken curry and freeze it for camping, as it can all be heated mixed together in a big pot while rice is quickly made on another pot.

Also, the same for frozen bolognese while you cook the spaghetti or pasta.

Just remembered, when we lived in Africa and went camping, my parents would take frozen sausages, chops and uncooked frozen beefburgers (in a cold box with lots of ice) and then on one of the nights we would have a great barbeque on an open fire. They where great.

Do you have the facilities to keep the food frozen?

One of our faves is to marianade tuna steaks in lime and coconut, then freeze and take with us. Easy as anything to defrost and griddle up.

We also make up simple kebabs of fresh chicken and veg and freeze, then serve with rice and tinned ratatouille.

Tinmned tuna also good- you can cvook it with tinned cocndensed mushtroom soup for a pasta bake mx.

Thanks for all the suggestions.

Spag bol has been done to death but am liking the kebab idea. No tuna here sadly and I'm not sure it'll work so well with snapper!

Keeping it all frozen is a challenge we are stuck with regular old coolboxes. So I thought tinned salmon if I can find it with uht cream garlic and leeks and spaghetti?
